everyday I watch the sunrise when I wake up, and watch the sunset as I get home from work, thinking how blessed I am to be here 🙂

Work has been great so far. Although I doubt that I’ll ever get use to the waking up early and sleeping early routine. Who said you’ll get used to it after a while? Its been long enough and I still dread going to bed early at night, and even after my 8 hours, I still feel like sleeping 😦

My colleague and boss are wonderful, wonderful people. I’m so blessed to be working with them ! Although the work culture is a bit odd here, due to the organization structure, these two people that I work with are nice enough to make me feel comfortable. Boss never once forget to say “Thank You” to me when he ask me to do something for him, when he really didn’t need to. Stephanie, my colleague, is an angel. She brings me to different places for lunch when she has the time to, and taught me a lot of things at work very patiently !

Having said that, I try very hard not to have a sudden outburst of excitement or emotions when I’m talking to them, like I usually do to my friends and family, because people here are very… prim and proper, smart and serious, still and focus. *groans*  So sometimes when I wasn’t assigned anything to do, I feel caged, which is the worst feeling ever considering that my view across my cubicle, is a view of the beautiful blue sky with clouds of different shapes, only to be filtered by right angled facades and its beige colored blinds. The chilly artificial air that I breathe in the office didn’t help lift up the mundane mood either.

But still, I’m very grateful to land on a job that I really wanted, on top of that, to be working with wonderful souls on something that can motivate a hard-headed person like me. I am certainly counting my blessings by working hard to pay it forward.

Hope all is well for all of you !

Till next time ! xx

A little update on my frustration of waiting for a job, I just signed the Acceptance Letter for an appointment to a job that I’ve been eyeing on since last November ! I’m so happy that I’ve waited for it even though the wait was really a torment. But it was all worth it. So now I’ll just have to wait for my employment visa to be approved by the Singapore government and I’ll be off to another city ! Can’t wait for another new adventure to start ! 🙂 Thank you to everyone who’s been so supportive throughout the whole ordeal !

Can’t wait to see how a new adventure will unfold. If everything goes well, I’ll be in Singapore for two years and I’ll be planning which city to hop on next after Singapore. Yes, I can’t stay still in one city for too long because the world is too big for you to be stuck in a place.

BYE ! Stay tune for the next post in…15 minutes ! 🙂

Up Up and Away !

My life has finally become eventful on Sunday! My T.O.P. and I went to the 4th Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Festival! How exciting right? I’ve never seen a real hot air balloon before and it has always been a dream for me to sit on one with my lover *chuckles*

We reached Putrajaya in the afternoon to find that cars were parked so far away and the traffic was so congested. We made it to the site, it was a huge fair with thousands of people around! After exploring the fair and playing a game of archery, we queued for tickets to take the hot air balloon ride. I was excited but as I was looking at the crowd, I knew that we won’t be the 300 lucky ones to get the tickets. And so my prophecy came true. I wasn’t too disappointed though, because the hot air balloon ride is not…a ride per se. Its just going up for 5 minutes and coming back down. I want the real ride!

We seated ourselves on the field and camwhored while waiting for 6pm to come where the balloons will be up. 3 huge baskets were presented in front of us at about 5.45pm and we managed to witness the whole process of the workers setting up the hot air balloon !

After several attempts of inflating the balloon, the workers had to tilt the whole balloon up and as they did that, I’ve got butterflies in my stomach and my heart was racing in excitement. That sight was really awesome for me, its like every fairy tale is coming true at that moment.

I must say, even though there were a lot of people, it was a really nice crowd. There were no rude pushing and kiasu people around. Even the heavy traffic was polite. The whole set up of the fair was really orderly as well, for example, rubbish were disposed accordingly. Can’t help to feel proud about Malaysians 😉

IMG_8014There were a lot of beautiful kids running around the field. I bet these innocent souls were really excited to see lots of balloons, both big and small around.

So that was how I spent a really nice Sunday with my T.O.P. I really enjoyed my time with him.

Coming up, My Recent K Pop Obsession !
